RAINER BRENNECKE

Trumpeter, composer and instrumental teacher.

After studying at the Berlin University of the Arts, majoring in trumpet, he became a theater musician in theaters including the Theatermanufaktur, the Theater des Westens, the Friedrichstadtpalast, the Deutsches Theater, the Hans-Otto-Theater in Potsdam and the Neuköllner Oper.

Multiple co-winners of the Berlin Senate's Studio Prize with the group Fun Horns, among others. Participation in numerous projects and bands, CD productions, film music, concerts and radio productions (SFB/RBB/Jazzradio, WDR, BBC, Radio France, etc.). Long-standing collaboration with the Goethe-Institut with the Fun Horns group.

Author and composer for the AMA publishing house and publication of the extensive instrumental instructional work "Trumpet - Playing, Reading, Improvising in 12 Keys" with CD to play along.

Trumpet teacher - classical and jazz-related lessons - at the music school Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and the Global Music Academy.

Trompetenlehrer - klassischer und jazzbezogener Unterricht - an den Berliner Musikschulen Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf und Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg.
